Our Staff
BARB
Barb is our Bloomington and Burnsville Appointment Coordinator. In 2006, she celebrated her 15th year with Dr. Kuipers. She manages the appointment schedule and phones, a tremendous responsibility, which she excels at. Barb has a strong orthodontic background with her father being an orthodontist in the Minneapolis area. Her memory is phenomenal with parents complimenting her constantly on her unique ability to remember patients names as well as their parents.
Barb's favorite part of her position is meeting new and interesting people, creating long-term relationships with our patients and families, and being part of their beautiful new smiles.
Barb is married and has three daughters and seven grandchildren. She enjoys motor homing, cooking, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
KELLY
Kelly works in all three locations as our Treatment Coordinator. She helps all our patients from their initial consultation visit until the time that they start their active orthodontic treatment. She actually did her dental assisting internship in our office. Kelly has a great sense of humor and relates well to patients of all ages.
Kelly's favorite part of her position is getting to know the patients and seeing their excitement throughout their orthodontic treatment. She likes working with the entire team while being appreciated for her talents.
Married with two teenage sons, she enjoys traveling, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.
AMBER
Amber is our newest employee, She works in the clinics as an Orthodontic
Assistant. She recently moved to St. Louis Park from Detroit Lakes.During the
month of February, for Dental Health Month, Amber does presentations at
elementary schools. She talks to the students about proper eating habits and
how to take care of their teeth.
She finds it rewarding and fun to meet new patients and follow them in their journey to a new beautiful smile.
Amber enjoys exercising, reading and becoming acquainted with the metro area.
MARY
Mary works mainly in the clinic as an Orthodontic Assistant, but also helps fill in at the front desk area. She has been with Dr. Kuipers for ten years and brings fabulous experience to her role. We rely heavily on her for her ability to organize and implement OSHA in the offices, while also doing work behind the scenes with inventory and new products.
Mary states that the favorite part of her position is watching the young people grow and help them achieve great-looking smiles! She also likes and respects the doctors and the entire team.
She enjoys reading, working in her flower garden, fishing and golfing.
VICKI
Vicki began as a Treatment Coordinator and then moved into the Office Manager role in 1995. She handles the financial and insurance contracts as well as team and patient management.
The rewards of her position are working in a positive, fun, and team-oriented environment while enjoying the interaction with all the patients. She has made many lasting relationships and has been fortunate to see second-generation patients start treatment.
Vicki has two children and two grandchildren. She loves to camp, travel, entertain and read.
TINA
Tina is a two-time employee, having worked as an Orthodontic Assistant several years ago. She has been working as our Scheduling Coordinator in the Red Wing office for nine years. She helps in the clinics with patients when needed, and manages the office inventory as well as the school visits in February, for Dental Health Month.
She likes seeing the changes that occur for all the patients over the course of their treatments and enjoys how the staff and doctors work as a team.
Tina has two children and enjoys walking, watching movies, traveling and scrapbooking.
VANESSA
Vanessa has been with us five years and handles our lab work and sterilization. She worked in an orthodontic office after completing her dental assisting program and then took time to raise her active family. Vanessa loves being a part of the team and seeing patients leave with great smiles.
She is married with four children and loves to spend time with them. Vanessa has a cabin "up north" and enjoys campfires and pontoon rides. Additionally, she likes movies, scrapbooking, and knitting.
BOBBIE
Bobbie works mainly in the clinic as an Orthodontic Assistant, but also helps fill in at the front desk area. She attended dental assisting school & interned in our office before becoming an employee in July 2006. Bobbie is our Clinical Coordinator & tries to keep our clinic running efficiently. She connects well with our patients and team while maintaining a great sense of humor.
Bobbie's favorite part about her position is seeing the end result and how the patients love their new beautiful smile.
She has a 3 year old son that keeps her busy and on her toes. She also coaches a local high school dance team. She enjoys cooking, scrapbooking, shopping and spending time with family and friends.
